About the Role
Roman Road Primary School is seeking to appoint a Reception/KS1 Class Teacher to join our two-form entry primary school community. We pride ourselves on having supportive parents and governors, motivated and well-behaved children, and a caring, committed, and professional staff team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exciting and engaging learning experiences for whole class, small group, and exploratory learning both indoors and outdoors. You will establish a safe, clean, and secure learning environment that promotes pupils’ confidence and encourages them to reach their full potential. We offer ongoing support, guidance, and training within a friendly and supportive school community with motivated students eager to progress.

Experience
Experience working with Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children is essential. A strong commitment to children’s learning and progress is required.

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Excellent knowledge of the Early Years framework and Development Matters
- GCSE Grade A* - C (or Grade 9 – 4 from 2017 onwards) in English and Mathematics
