About the Role
St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave from December. The school is a successful, warm, and friendly two-form entry primary and nursery school with a strong caring ethos. It offers a bright, modern, and well-resourced environment set in beautiful grounds with ample outdoor space, including a thriving Forest School. The school prides itself on exemplary pupil behaviour and motivated learners. Staff wellbeing and innovative professional development are key priorities. This role offers additional PPA time, support from experienced parallel teachers and line managers, use of workload-reducing technology, subject leader time, high quality CPD, and a positive working environment following recent Catholic and Ofsted inspections.

Experience
Experience teaching in Key Stage Two is required. Early Career Teachers in their second year are also encouraged to apply.

About you
You should have high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour, be able to challenge and motivate them creatively, and be fun and dynamic with a willingness to try new approaches. Participation in the Catholic life of the school is expected, although you do not need to be Catholic yourself.

Qualifications
Qualified teacher status is required.
