About the Role
As a Client Consultant, you are an essential part of a team that delivers the extraordinary to our customers. You will be an expert in all things Selfridges, fully knowledgeable about the store including the latest events and exclusive services. Based in your department, you will create memorable experiences by understanding customers' reasons to visit, deepening relationships, and growing your client book while maintaining the highest retail standards.
Key responsibilities include advising and recommending beauty products tailored to individual needs, carrying out makeup looks and demonstrations, and identifying potential clients to create extraordinary experiences. You will work collaboratively within your team to ensure a seamless customer journey, from selling and replenishing stock to cashing up and organising rails. You will also dedicate time to building and nurturing long-term client relationships through personalised updates and proactive client development, focusing on driving OB brands and key division products.
Additionally, you will elevate customer experiences by connecting clients to other parts of the store and Brand Partners, manage customer feedback constructively to continually raise service and retail standards, and stay ahead of trends by expanding your product knowledge. You will also ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures and actively contribute to preventing stock loss.
Experience
Strong makeup artistry skills and experience are essential. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results in a retail or beauty environment is highly desirable.
