About the Role
Framestore, a multi-Oscar-winning creative Film & Episodic Studio, collaborates with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. We combine talent and technology to bring life to everything we create, driven by creativity and inspired by the future. As a Compositor at Framestore London, you will be an integral part of a creative conversation, working closely with Compositing Leads, Supervisors, and VFX Supervisors to bring assigned shots to life. Your role involves integrating 2D, 3D, and live-action elements to achieve high-end film visual effects standards. You will help keep projects on track by meeting schedules and deadlines, maintain open communication with Production, and balance the creative and technical elements of each shot using your expertise in Nuke. Please note that only UK-based candidates will be considered. Start dates are expected in August 2026.

Experience
Excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke. Experience working with multiple render-passes. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Pro-active and collaborative work ethic. A strong eye for detail, composition, colour, and lighting. Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve. Understanding of colour space principles.

Desirable Experience
Knowledge of practical lighting for photography. Understanding of the overall VFX pipeline. Experience in client communication. Programming and coding experience and knowledge.
