We are seeking a Consultant to join our Real Estate Consulting (REC) team, working nationally with health and social care clients. You will help identify and test the feasibility of real estate investment opportunities, supporting clients to build strong cases for change and make informed investment decisions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and developing healthcare estate and infrastructure projects and programmes. You will have supported healthcare estate strategy development and authored business cases using the HM Treasury 5 case model, with a robust understanding of business case development stages from Project Initiation to Full Business Case.
Experience
- Preparation of business cases (SOC / OBC / FBC), estate/property strategies, property target operating models, and change management
- Working in client-side and consultancy environments
- Programme management, project management, capital projects and contract management
- Handling and analysing large and complex datasets to evidence proposed solutions
- Knowledge of the HM Treasury 5 case model and business case authoring
- Experience working collaboratively and managing change across multi-disciplinary teams

Qualifications
- Relevant professional qualification such as a Bachelor's degree
- Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince 2, MSP) or equivalent relevant experience
- Business Case Writing skills or equivalent relevant experience
- Clear understanding of good practice data management procedures
Desirable
- Relevant industry qualifications in Surveying, Engineering, Financial or Accounting fields
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Better Business Case Accreditation
- Experience in strategic infrastructure programmes within large/complex organisations
- Experience as a project manager in Health or Social Care services
- Ability to lead and develop business cases for major capital investment opportunities
- Initiative and resilience to manage challenges and resistance
- Proficiency in data tools such as MS Excel and Power BI to deliver insightful, evidence-based analysis
