About the Role
This 12-month Fixed Term Contract position is part of the Risk Directorate, working at the heart of the Risk Oversight team. Reporting directly to the Head of Controls Oversight, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering impactful control initiatives, including the Policy Effectiveness Programme and the Enhanced Control Testing Programme. You will also contribute to various ad hoc risk oversight projects, helping to strengthen Nest’s overall control environment.
The role involves supporting the business in reviewing and challenging policies, risks, and controls, engaging with Risk & Control Business partners across Nest to identify emerging risks that may require new controls, and collaborating with colleagues at all levels, including senior leadership. You will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer, Risk Oversight team, and Risk Directorate to produce outputs for the Executive Risk Committee, Risk Committee, Audit Committee, and the Board.

Experience
Background in controls management, internal audit, or assurance is highly desirable. Experience in designing and implementing control initiatives and working within risk oversight functions will be advantageous.

Collaborative and able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management. Motivated to contribute to strengthening control environments and supporting organisational risk appetite and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
