About the Role
As a Data Analyst Apprentice within Corporate Responsibility, you will contribute to major corporate initiatives, Annual reports and ESG disclosures supporting Turner & Townsend’s drive to a low carbon future, ethical operations, and thriving workplaces and communities. You will manage and interpret data to support key strategies including the company’s commitment to be net zero by 2040. Working alongside Corporate Responsibility experts, you will handle a growing set of data to inform decision-making and enable transparent data-sharing, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to collect relevant data sets.
This role is critical as the business grows and data is increasingly audited and assured to meet mandatory and voluntary requirements that support business expansion and work-winning. You will complete the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship while gaining practical workplace experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will receive a structured development plan introducing key business, technical, and commercial competencies essential for success at Turner & Townsend. Your line manager and apprentice development manager will guide you throughout your apprenticeship journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business process mapping and documentation
- Assist with requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops, demonstrating strong engagement and communication skills
- Identify, collate, quality assure and process appropriate data across Corporate Responsibility topics
- Collect, compile and manage data inputs and outputs
- Produce performance dashboards and share analytic insights
- Support testing and implementation of new data collection systems
- Identify and analyse trends, business challenges and improvement opportunities
- Support report drafting and summaries for governance processes such as Steering Group and Board reporting
- Draw conclusions and promote recommendations or next steps
- Summarise and present data clearly
- Follow quality assurance, control and accuracy processes
- Practice continuous self-learning to keep up to date with technological developments
- Apply business analysis techniques and methodologies, problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Demonstrate professional working practices and teamwork
Experience
No prior experience required. Enthusiasm for data analytics, sustainability and responsible business practices is essential.

Qualifications
- You will be enrolled on the Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship, typically lasting 18 months
- Training delivered through a blend of workplace learning, online study and workshops
- Turner & Townsend will support your enrolment and provide additional mandatory and relevant training
- Minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4-9 including English Language and Mathematics
- Right to live and work in the UK and meet apprenticeship eligibility requirements
