Our Defence South East Cost Centre supports a range of complex Defence projects and programmes, offering services including programme and project management, controls and performance management, cost management, and procurement. We are expanding our team to meet growing client demands and seek talented Cost Estimators and Senior Estimators with experience in Infrastructure and/or Defence sectors.

In this role, you will work on large-scale, high-profile programmes, delivering a variety of estimating and commercial intelligence outputs to support client decision making. This includes producing estimates from order of magnitude through to detailed first principles, providing estimating assurance, supporting major programme set up, and conducting data analysis and benchmarking.

Due to the sensitive nature of our projects, applicants must be Sole UK Nationals able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC).

Experience
- Proven experience in producing accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans in a timely manner
- Control and management of the estimating process at project level
- Ability to produce estimates independently without supervision
- Experience with estimating software packages
- Supporting the development and promotion of estimating good practice
- Staying current with developments in estimating and cost management to provide best practice advice
- Desirable experience includes working with UK Government organisations, Infrastructure/Construction sectors, Nuclear Sector experience, and understanding of MoD procedures

About you
Experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive estimator with strong commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively within a high-performing team. You must be a Sole UK National eligible for UK MoD Security Clearance (SC) and demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in estimating.

Qualifications
- Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant experience
- Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards it
- Desirable membership of RICS, CIOB, or A. Cost E.
