Our UK Infrastructure business is seeking personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Quantity Surveyors to support our continuing growth and contribute to impactful infrastructure projects.
As a Cost Manager, you will work on a variety of client and Turner & Townsend projects and initiatives, establishing professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You will administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies, provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting, and proactively manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
You will collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering. Managing contract changes effectively to ensure projects remain within governance and best practice is key. You will drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, provide commercial support to stakeholders, negotiate and agree final accounts, and lead people and commissions as required.

Experience
- Previous experience or strong understanding of contract management (NEC3, Option C preferred), cost management, change management and control, valuation, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing, and reporting.
- Collaborative approach with a best-for-project attitude.
- People and commission management.
- Ability to identify and drive efficiencies and improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.

Qualifications
- Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- Ideally hold or be working towards membership of an appropriate professional body or equivalent.
