About the Role
Turner & Townsend's award-winning Controls & Performance team is focused on driving innovation, enhancing clients’ integrated controls capability, improving performance, and delivering better programme outcomes. As a Cost Manager within our Energy & Natural Resources sector, you will work across Power projects including Distribution, Transmission, Renewables, and other technologies. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with high-profile clients, develop consultancy skills, and diversify your sector experience. This role offers a supportive environment for personal and professional career progression within a growing national team of over 600 Controls & Performance professionals. You will be responsible for administering contracts in line with project objectives, providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting, proactively managing cost variance and cash flow, and collaborating with client and contractor teams to deliver project KPIs and objectives. You will also manage contract changes effectively, ensuring adherence to governance and best practices, while driving improvements in forecast and budget accuracy.

Requirements

Experience
Proven track record operating at Cost Management level within the Power sector, including experience in Distribution, Transmission, Renewables or related technologies. Experience administering a variety of contracts and delivering projects to meet client ambitions.

Qualifications
Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. Ideally hold or be working towards membership of an appropriate professional body. Experience with contract management, preferably NEC3 Option C. Awareness of SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
