About the Role
Based in the heart of Shoreditch, Little Dot Studios is a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network seeking a Creative Development Producer to join our Agency team. As a Creative Development Producer, you will be an ideas-first creative, generating original concepts for social and digital platforms that cut through and resonate with audiences. You will have an instinct for what people are watching, talking about, and sharing, with a genuine passion for social media, creator culture, digital innovation, and emerging trends.
You will champion creative development from brief to pitch, identifying opportunities inspired by entertainment, sport, culture, and audience behaviours to develop content across social and digital channels. Working closely with creative, strategy, and production teams, you will shape standout ideas that deliver editorial impact and client objectives across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, streaming services, and emerging platforms.
Your focus will be predominantly on non-scripted video and audio projects funded by brands. You will develop, write, and pitch original production opportunities independently and collaboratively, develop compelling narratives and storytelling arcs for social media campaigns, and leverage multimedia elements to captivate and engage audiences.
Additional responsibilities include briefing and providing feedback on pitch collateral with the design team, guiding cost and schedule project proposals with production producers, facilitating ideation sessions, presenting creative development internally and externally, attending productions as creative lead when necessary, overseeing post production in the absence of directors or edit producers, writing and presenting case studies, running development calls with talent and agents, coordinating with external partners, and maintaining relationships with key production crew and creatives.
Little Dot Studios is an award-winning, B Corp™ Certified workplace with employee wellbeing at its core. We offer hybrid and flexi-time working, mental health and wellbeing programmes, enhanced family leave, interest-free financial support, a digital nomad policy allowing work from abroad in two one-week blocks per year, pension contributions, annual leave, and office perks including free lunches, socials, and health treatments.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within a content company, commercial broadcaster, advertising or media agency. Experience managing researchers and assistant creative producers, and providing constructive guidance to designers and editors. Practical creative experience combining production and development, with knowledge of live action, animation, livestream, and audio formats.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere. Familiarity with InDesign, Google Slides, and PowerPoint is advantageous. Awareness and interest in the UK and US television, digital, audio, and social platform landscapes.
About you
Excellent writing skills, a talent for problem solving, and a keen eye for detail. A creative thinker with a passion for social media, creator culture, digital innovation, and emerging trends. Ability to lead and support team members in conceptualising and advancing initiatives. Calm and adaptable under pressure, with strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with talent, agencies, and production crew.
Committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace, and able to contribute unique perspectives in a collaborative environment.
