About the Role
United Colleges Group provides education to over 11,000 learners annually across five campuses and two colleges, including City of Westminster College and College of North West London. We are one of the top 20 largest college groups in the UK, delivering vocational education and training across a wide range of levels and learner needs. Our mission is to provide the very best knowledge and break down barriers to learning, ensuring a unique, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for all learners.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Data Compliance Coordinator to support the College in meeting its data protection and compliance responsibilities. Working closely with the Data Compliance Manager and key teams, you will help embed robust data protection practices into daily operations. This varied and collaborative role involves managing data protection requests, maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, policies, and training initiatives to ensure compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

You will act as a key point of contact for staff, providing guidance on data protection queries and promoting best practices across the organisation. Responsibilities include coordinating Data Subject Access Requests, supporting incident management, and collaborating with IT, HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure secure data handling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail, building relationships across teams, and contributing to a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
