Introduction
The Strategic Planning and Performance team provides leadership and support for Participation in the following key areas - strategic and business planning, data management and analytics, digital systems and platforms, production of branded content and resources, and capability building through focused staff training.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Planning and Performance, the principal focus of this role is to manage strategic projects and provide focused support around the delivery of key workstreams for Participation. The role has a significant focus on digital and data, including acting as the main point of contact with PDS on digital planning.
Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects and workstreams within Participation's strategic planning portfolio, including planning, risk and issue management, managing interdependencies, managing budget and the timely delivery of milestones and outcomes(e.g. implementation of new bookings systems).
Facilitate cross-functional groups to plan and deliver workstreams to help optimise Participation's operational infrastructure and improve 'ways of working' (e.g. business processes).
Manage contracts with Participation wide suppliers around systems and platforms.
Collaborating with and directing external suppliers and delivery partners as well as working with internal teams.
Build awareness among stakeholders of opportunities, constraints, dependencies and risk across data and technology and ensure these are fed into business plans.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Experience of successfully managing complex, long-term projects with multiple stakeholders; demonstrates the ability to deliver various initiatives simultaneously and across team boundaries; experience of managing budgets and contracts; understanding of managing change in a complex organisation in relation to improving business systems and processes.
Detailed knowledge of the digital and data landscape; experience of working with multiple digital systems and platforms simultaneously; understanding of data management principles and best practice.
Strong written and oral communication skills; able to explain complex issues in a way that is understandable and meaningful; conveys important messages and key decisions accurately, ensuring that they are understood and acted upon.
