About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registrar to join a developing and fast-paced Registration Service, delivering a professional and efficient service at key moments in people's lives. As a Deputy Registrar/Deputy Superintendent Registrar, you will be responsible for registering births, deaths, stillbirths, notices of marriage, and conducting marriage and civil partnership ceremonies as well as citizenship ceremonies. This role requires enthusiasm for public engagement, public speaking, and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
You will need to be well organised with excellent ICT skills, possess integrity and sensitivity, and be able to work independently while also being a team player. Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essential in this demanding frontline role.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build on strong registration skills. Proven experience as a Deputy Superintendent Registrar with a comprehensive working knowledge of all aspects of civil registration is expected.

Experience
Proven skills as a Deputy Superintendent Registrar with strong working knowledge of all aspects of civil registration including births, deaths, marriages, civil partnerships, and citizenship ceremonies.
