About the Role
Tower Hamlets is a unique and vibrant borough offering the best of London in one diverse area. We are seeking dedicated and committed Longer Term Support Officers to join our Locality teams and make a positive impact on adults aged 18 years and over and their carers within our communities.

In this role, you will hold a varied caseload, carrying out assessments and reviews that focus on the strengths of individuals, their families, carers, and local communities to promote independence. You will work in a strength-based, outcome-focused way to support people in achieving the outcomes that matter most to them.

We offer quality supervision, peer support, and a range of opportunities to develop your practice. Our benefits package is competitive and on par with some of the best in London.

Our work is underpinned by five core values that guide how we interact with customers, partners, and colleagues: Together, Open and honest, Willing, Excellence, and Respect. We use a values-based recruitment model to ensure all candidates share our vision and values, helping us get to know you better as a person.

Tower Hamlets is committed to being an inclusive borough where people are aspirational, independent, and have equal access to opportunities. We are a dynamic, outcomes-based council using digital innovation and partnership working to meet the changing needs of our community.
