
Location
1 New Oxford Street, London - expectation is a minimum of 2 days in the office (maximum 5 days). In general, the team is in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays but this can sometimes change, so a flexible approach to work and working hours is required.

About the Role
The Development Assistant will provide a mix of administrative support to the Creative and Development Directors, ensuring the team has the information, resources and systems to best support development and production. You will support a wide range of activities including diary management, maintaining development databases and systems, designing pitch documents and covers, and general development support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing general admin and diary support to the Creative Director and Development Director
- Being across productions at all stages and offering support with a keenness to learn
- Acting as the initial point of contact for the label's productions and general enquiries including the company inbox
- Updating the label's development slate and managing other departmental development logs, databases and systems in conjunction with the Development Director
- Supporting pitch document design, proofing and formatting
- Preparing industry intelligence documents as directed (e.g. greenlights, theatre, transmission lists)
- Conducting research into development ideas and projects
- Leading awards submissions for Silverprint
- Managing Silverprint's social media and website
- Organising and sourcing gifts for production teams and writers
- Submitting expenses and organising travel for Creative and Development Directors
- Undertaking other ad-hoc tasks as needed
Experience
Previous experience working in scripted TV or film with a demonstrable awareness of the UK drama landscape. A passion for storytelling and drama with a hunger to learn more is essential. Proven experience providing administrative support in a team environment is required.

A self-starter with a positive and proactive approach, collaborative, eager to learn and able to anticipate areas of support needed without prompting. Strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks or priorities at varying stages. Flexible, proactive and creative approach to the role. Confident and professional in dealing with a wide variety of people including commissioners, cast, agents, writers and production teams. Reliable and committed to delivering work to deadlines with a keenness to learn and develop over time. Clear interpersonal, written, verbal and IT skills. Able to work as a key member of a team with a helpful and willing attitude. An active and keen interest in scripted television, film and theatre with experience working within one of these fields. Good researching and writing skills with the ability to draft and proof documents and emails to a professional standard.
