About the Role
At Mace, our purpose is to redefine the boundaries of ambition. We believe in creating places that are responsible, bringing transformative impact to our people, communities and societies across the globe. Within our consult business, we harness a unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.

The Mace Consult BIM team supports clients and project teams by developing and maintaining information requirements and standards, managing processes within a common data environment, and leading the delivery of the information management function for project teams. This role involves advising, innovating, understanding, developing, and implementing processes aligned with the ISO 19650 series, including how information is produced and assured for digital delivery.

You will be responsible for supporting delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders, conducting interviews for BIM roles, delegating tasks, and developing BIM execution plans (BEP). You will ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and other applicable standards, implement governance and assurance processes, monitor digital handover to completion, and participate in industry events to stay current with BIM developments.

Additional responsibilities include producing information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR), developing information standards and shared resources, supporting Mace processes and procedures, object library development, assurance and checking of information models, reviewing technology solutions, and supporting construction sequencing strategies. You will also assist the cost team in preparing cost plans from information models and provide training to the BIM team on various BIM-related topics.

This role requires a strong understanding of information management assignment matrices, fundamentals of authoring information, and setup of processes and tools for Common Data Environments (CDEs). You will upskill client teams, project managers, and design teams through BIM knowledge sharing sessions and work closely with Mace PM and design teams to ensure procedural compliance with the Mace Way.
