About the Role

The Project Mace Dragados Joint Venture (MDJV) is the construction partner for the new HS2 Euston Station, working alongside HS2 Ltd and design partners to deliver new platforms, concourse structures, and interchange links to London Underground and National Rail.

As Senior Health and Safety Manager, you will act as the H&S advisor within your area, ensuring the team stays updated on new developments and applying professional standards to maintain best practice. You will maintain core expertise, provide training and mentoring, and apply tools and strategies to improve project health and safety performance.

Your responsibilities will include providing H&S advice to MDJV managers and project managers to support project objectives, maintaining awareness of project implications, and creating and maintaining internal and external relationships to influence decision making. You will advise on contractual and statutory requirements to protect project integrity and develop relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers to help achieve project targets.

This role requires a proactive approach to promoting health and safety best practices and acting as an ambassador for both H&S and the project values.

Experience
Appropriate diploma plus professional qualification OR significant qualitative experience in health and safety management within construction or related sectors.

Business acumen with the ability to enhance and interpret health and safety business objectives. Pro-active project focus with a clear understanding of project needs. Full awareness of IT capabilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with proven ability to present information to diverse audiences at project and business unit levels. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others in project values and health and safety best practices. An ambassador for health and safety and the project.
