About the Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will make a powerful contribution to the lives of children across Westminster. Joining the Childcare Team, you will provide high quality care and education to children attending nursery, ensuring their emotional, social and academic needs are met. You will work alongside a team of experts, benefiting from their experience, insights and innovative teaching strategies as you develop your skills.
Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and health, you will ensure the children in your care are safe, supported and encouraged to grow. Taking into account children’s individual needs, prior knowledge and family and cultural backgrounds, you will promote parents’ involvement in their children’s learning. Everything you do will put children first, giving them the tools, guidance and skills they need to thrive.
Experience
An established professional with at least one year of post-qualification experience in Early Years education.
About you
You will be passionate about shaping the future learning and development of children during their most formative years. A true team player with excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills, you will be comfortable working within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (2021). You will have the ability to observe, plan and prepare a curriculum tailored to children’s needs.
Qualifications
You will hold a NNEB, CACHE, BTEC Level 3, or BA in Childcare in Early Years.
