About the Role

The Parliamentary Maintenance Services Team (PMST) is responsible for the buildings, engineering systems, and furnishings to ensure a fully functioning, safe working environment equipped for the demands of the 21st century. The projects team is an integral part of PMST, providing a flexible service to a variety of internal customers. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a number of projects typically ranging from £50k to £2m. Key duties include ensuring PMST projects are procured and delivered in compliance with specifications, Parliamentary design standards, CDM regulations, PCD procurement requirements, and the House's financial regulations. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders and clients at various levels of the organization.
Experience
Minimum NVQ L4 in a construction-related topic (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Building Services) or 5 years equivalent work experience; PRINCE2 Foundation; Agile PM Foundation; APM Project Management Fundamentals; public sector experience with an understanding of political sensitivities.
