About the Role
As an Employee Experience Manager, you will lead the delivery of an outstanding employee experience at the House of Commons, supporting the wider UK Parliament through every stage of the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of Employee Experience and Policy, you will manage a team of five Employee Experience Coordinators, ensuring a high-quality, responsive service while driving consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to combine people leadership with operational excellence in a unique organisation at the heart of UK democracy.

You will oversee employee lifecycle processes, ensuring service standards, SLAs, and KPIs are met while maintaining accurate employment records, contracts, and correspondence. Working closely with colleagues across People and Culture, payroll, and resourcing, you will resolve complex queries, improve processes, and develop guidance and resources for managers and employees. Through strong leadership and collaboration, you will help create a seamless, consistent, and engaging employee experience that supports colleagues and the organisation's wider strategic priorities.

Benefits
Alongside your salary of £45,359, the House of Commons contributes £13,140 towards your membership of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme. Additional benefits include generous annual leave starting at 30 days and increasing to 35 after one full working year, enrolment in the Civil Service pension scheme with an average employer contribution of 27%, and flexible working options including enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave, caring leave, and alternative working patterns.

Requirements

Experience
Proven ability to lead and manage a team, building strong relationships and driving high performance. Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle with previous experience as an HR professional. Experience working with digital tools and HR systems.

Qualifications
