Location
London, UK - Hybrid working with an average of two days per week working from home. Candidates must be based in the UK within a commutable distance to Heathrow.

Hours
Full Time - standard working hours, flexible arrangements to support operational needs.

Salary

About the Role
As an Employee Relations Manager at Heathrow, you will lead a team of Employee Relations Specialists, supporting leaders through complex people challenges and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. Operating within a highly unionised environment, you will provide expert guidance on complex case management, investigations, organisational change, and Trade Union consultation. Acting as a trusted advisor across the business, you will help leaders navigate sensitive employee relations matters while ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.

You will use insight and data to identify trends, share key learnings, and develop targeted interventions, coaching, and training that strengthen management capability and enhance the colleague experience. This is a 1 year Fixed Term Contract role. Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in employee relations, ideally within a unionised environment. Strong background in complex case management, investigations, organisational change, and Trade Union consultation.

Trusted advisor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead and develop a team while fostering collaboration and inclusivity. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insight to influence and improve management capability and colleague experience. Resilient, adaptable, and motivated to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Law, or related fields are desirable. CIPD membership or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
