About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact? As an Employment Advisor, you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals. You will help participants unlock their potential and guide them toward sustainable employment, providing career coaching and personal development support while addressing complex and varied challenges.
Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and outline steps needed to secure meaningful employment. You will meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community. You will also signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
Additionally, you will ensure participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to support their job searches. Preparing participants for interviews through mock interviews and assessment activities, and helping them build confidence in their abilities will also be part of your role. Maintaining accurate electronic participant records reflecting the broad spectrum of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and standards is essential.
Experience
- Experience working in fast-paced environments
- Strong track record of delivering against and exceeding performance targets
