As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Conducting health and disability assessments to understand each person’s unique needs.
- Carrying out Work Capability Assessments (WCA), a functional assessment covering physical, mental, intellectual, and cognitive functions to determine work capability.
- Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants and contribute to the continuous improvement and service excellence of health assessment services in the UK.

Experience
At least 12 months post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC registered physiotherapist or occupational therapist. Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions is preferred.

Qualifications
Current registration with NMC or HCPC as a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. Clinical registration must be maintained throughout employment.
