About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact? As an Employment Advisor (Restart Advisor), you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals. You will help participants unlock their potential and guide them toward sustainable employment through career coaching, personal development, and addressing complex and varied challenges.
Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and outline steps needed to secure meaningful employment. You will meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community. You will also signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
Additionally, you will ensure participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to support their job searches. Preparing participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, and helping them build confidence in their abilities will be a key part of your role. Maintaining accurate electronic participant records reflecting the broad spectrum of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and standards, is essential.
Experience
Experience working in fast-paced environments. Proven track record of delivering against and exceeding performance targets. Strong ability to engage participants in personal growth and mindset transformation to drive positive change.

Exceptional communication skills to inspire and influence participants while addressing diverse needs with flexibility, robustness, and creativity. You are also skilled in liaising with employers and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for participants. Flexible and creative problem solver with high-level digital literacy and excellent organisational skills to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities.
