As an Energy Data Analyst, you will analyse large datasets and apply statistics to identify cost control and cost reduction opportunities. You will support the development and maintenance of databases used for invoice validation, cost reconciliation, and supplier portfolio management. Your role includes maintaining and distributing relevant information and reports to stakeholders, producing and updating documentation related to reporting, data pipelines, and databases.

You will respond to incoming queries on reports and data requests, interrogate and validate datasets in development environments to ensure accuracy, and maintain procedures and controls required to manage datasets. Regular interaction with front, middle, and back office teams is essential. You will ensure on-time validation of group expenditure or incomes from electricity supply agreements and incentives through a dedicated invoice validation system, and produce and maintain documentation on this system. Timely provision of information to front-office and operational teams will support Group energy contract negotiations.

Experience
Experience working with large datasets is essential. Exposure to energy markets is beneficial but not required. Experience with SQL is advantageous but not mandatory. Proven project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are important.
