About the Role
Join the L&Q Energy Team as an Energy Operations Manager during an exciting period of growth, with the portfolio expanding from 9,000 to over 30,000 heat customers in the coming years. Reporting to the Senior Energy Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and management, including customer service oversight, to contribute to L&Q Energy's performance while upholding L&Q values. You will oversee the ongoing management of a portfolio of new and existing communal heating schemes, ensuring compliance with Corporate Health and Safety standards and meeting key performance indicators aligned with the Annual Operational Plan.

You will be responsible for providing regular progress reports, analyzing scheme failures, and recommending improvements. Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external customers and stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing communal heating services.

This role requires participation in standby and call-out arrangements, including working outside normal hours and weekends. Experience
- Proven experience managing multiple ongoing tasks and projects
- Knowledge of communal and district heating systems, ideally with relevant hands-on experience
- Strong contract and supplier management skills
- Experience and understanding of procurement of works and services
- Good commercial acumen and financial awareness
