About the Role
We are partnering with an organisation investing heavily in its data capability and seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of its enterprise-wide data landscape. This senior strategic role involves working closely with technology and business leaders to shape data architecture, define standards, and ensure a scalable, secure, and future-ready data platform.

You will play a key role in modernising existing data environments, designing cloud-based solutions, and driving best practices across data governance, modelling, and analytics. Key responsibilities include defining and developing the enterprise data architecture strategy, designing scalable data warehouse, lakehouse, and cloud data solutions, establishing data governance and quality standards, and leading architecture decisions across data platforms, integration, and analytics.

Additionally, you will identify opportunities to simplify existing platforms while improving scalability and performance, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend improvements to the wider data estate. Experience
Extensive experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or a similar strategic data leadership role.
Strong background designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
Experience with Azure, Databricks, and modern data architecture principles.
Strong understanding of data modelling, governance, and data quality frameworks.
Experience delivering large-scale data transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of technologies such as SQL, PySpark, Snowflake, Kafka, and modern BI platforms including Power BI or Tableau.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
