About the Role
Delta Academies Trust is seeking an Environmental Education Centre Site Assistant (Maintenance) to join the Delta Core Team. Based at the Environmental Education Centre in the stunning Lake District village of Patterdale, you will play a key role in maintaining the site and facilities to a high standard, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and enjoyable for staff, students, and visitors. This unique role combines hands-on maintenance work with supporting educational experiences in an exceptional outdoor setting.
Responsibilities include routine assessment of facilities, delivering planned maintenance and improvements such as repairs, decorating, and landscaping. You will also assist with movement of furniture and equipment, cleaning duties, health and safety compliance, driving a minibus, working alongside kitchen staff at mealtimes, and supporting the management of bookings.

Experience
Practical experience in site maintenance, including repairs, decorating, landscaping, and general upkeep of facilities. Experience driving a minibus and working in a team environment is desirable.
