About the Role
Join the rapidly growing Real-World Evidence (RWE) team at Costello Medical, contributing to the design, execution and reporting of prospective, retrospective and cross-sectional real-world studies. You will develop protocols and statistical analyses, acquire and analyse data, and communicate findings to external healthcare stakeholders in both written and oral formats. Project types include secondary analysis of patient registries and electronic health record databases, as well as primary data generation such as prospective cohort studies and patient/clinician surveys. Studies cover a wide range of research questions including burden of disease, clinical effectiveness and economic topics.
You will work collaboratively within project teams across all service areas to ensure high-quality, timely delivery aligned with client expectations. The role involves varying technical requirements and includes one-to-one training in project management and client communication. Following induction, you will participate in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with clients.
The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for rapid progression, with mentoring to take on project management and client responsibility within six to twelve months. You will typically manage multiple projects simultaneously, with analyses feeding into publications, value materials, health economic models and health technology assessment submissions. This role offers exposure to a broad range of therapeutic areas and services.
Experience
- Degree level or higher qualification in a relevant subject (minimum 2.1 or above)
- Good understanding of epidemiological techniques and data analysis methods
- Good understanding of statistical techniques sufficient to engage in technical discussions with Statisticians
- Experience or willingness to develop skills in R programming for large dataset analysis
- Ability to trial, explore or recommend new software or techniques
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain quality deliverables and customer service under multiple competing demands
- Excellent organisational skills with flexibility to meet changing deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams

Qualifications
