About the Role

We are seeking Estate Services Mobile Operatives to bring their expertise to the Estate Services Team. You will enjoy working with people and use your knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our communities and residents. With experience in caretaking and grounds maintenance, you will be responsible for deep cleans using machinery such as pressure washers and floor scrubbers on both internal and external estate areas, alongside general cleaning duties. You will operate vehicles, machines, and equipment across the Estates Services Team, load a rapid bulk refuse collection vehicle, and collect bulk refuse and unwanted items from various internal and external locations. This varied and challenging role requires commitment, excellent customer care skills, effective communication, and a proactive, ‘can do’ attitude. You will be expected to work safely, engaging courteously and professionally with members of the public, staff, and community representatives. Applicants must be able to travel across the region as required.
Experience
Experience in caretaking and grounds maintenance is essential. Proven ability to operate machinery such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and vehicles safely and effectively.
About you
Committed and proactive with strong customer care skills. Able to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism when dealing with the public, staff, and community representatives. A ‘can do’ mentality and awareness of safe working practices are required.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a full valid manual UK driving licence as driving company vehicles for work use is required. This post is subject to Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance. You must be eligible to work in the UK and reside in England or Wales for the duration of your employment.
