About the Role
The University of Roehampton is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to join our Conference and Events team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the growth of our business across two exceptional properties and contribute to the University’s delivery and strategic goals over the next five years. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of events including weddings, private parties, and corporate functions. The role requires excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Key responsibilities include promoting and selling all University event spaces, ensuring events are properly costed, preparing invoices and contracts, issuing accurate function sheets, liaising with University departments to coordinate services such as catering and security, and supporting the marketing and promotion of the University’s conferencing facilities.
