In this role, you will manage the smooth and efficient operation of a kitchen operating across multiple outlets, maintaining the company’s reputation for food quality at all times. This is a single site contract with separate kitchens for Hospitality and the Free-Issue Staff restaurant, also supporting the retail Coffee Bar with cakes, pastries, and tray bakes.

You will oversee a high volume, high quality hospitality offering, serving circa 600 lunches daily in the staff restaurant with a streamlined and healthy breakfast service. Responsibilities include planning, preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to company and client standards; managing supplies and stock takes; setting objectives; supervising recruitment and selection; assessing employee performance and training needs; staying updated on food trends and ingredients; controlling financial targets and maximising commercial opportunities; and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation.

Experience
Proven experience within a demanding kitchen environment at the relevant level
Ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers
