Advance is looking for a Female Casual Support Worker in Leyton, E10 to support customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, or mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. Responsibilities include assisting wheelchair users, supporting personal care and hygiene if required, medication administration if required, meal preparation and cooking support, attending medical appointments, supporting social activities and independent skills, domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry, keeping accurate records and updating care plans, maintaining training compliance, ensuring premises safety during the night, and conducting regular safety checks on customers.

Requirements

Experience
No previous experience in care or support is required. What matters most are your values, passion, and determination to make a difference in the lives of people with autism or learning disabilities.

About you
- Experienced with using a hoist
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to complete quality support records
- Willing and able to work in different locations if needed
- Flexible with working hours
- Ability to follow Support Plans and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records
- Willing to work with diverse people with learning disabilities, including wheelchair users
- Literate and numerate in English
- Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role, but willingness to complete the Care Certificate is essential.
