About the Role
At Jewish Care, we support people to live independently, with dignity and connection at the heart of everything we do. Our Retirement Living services offer a vibrant, supportive community where tenants enjoy their independence while knowing care and support are available when needed. This role is not a typical care position. As a Care & Support Worker, you will support tenants living in their own flats, helping them stay independent, connected, and in control of their lives. From practical support to companionship, you will build meaningful relationships and play a key role in creating a strong community.

Your responsibilities will include supporting tenants with personal care and daily living, promoting independence, choice, and dignity, building trusted relationships with tenants and their families, supporting wellbeing through social activities and community engagement, working with health and social care professionals to provide joined-up support, and keeping accurate records using care planning systems.

There is a genuine occupational requirement, in accordance with the Sex Discrimination Act 1974, for the postholder to be female.

Experience
Experience in care is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
