About the Role
Join our multi-award-winning organisation as a Housekeeping Assistant within our Hospitality team. This role involves delivering hospitality services across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres to excellent standards. You will play a key role in creating an inviting and pleasant environment for our service users by maintaining high cleanliness standards. Your responsibilities will include delivering housekeeping activities, supporting wider hospitality teams during events and festivals, assisting with laundry duties such as washing, ironing, and distribution, and ensuring infection control procedures are strictly followed. You will also inspect, monitor, record, and report on products, appliances, and consumables, manage waste disposal in line with policy, and report any hazards or maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Experience
Previous experience working within a housekeeping environment, both independently and as part of a team. Experience in cleaning within a similar environment with a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Understanding of the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Willingness to work weekends as required. Commitment to safe and hygienic working practices.
Qualifications
COSHH training and a current Accredited Infection Control Certificate are desirable or willingness to be trained.
