About the Role
Karntek is seeking a Fire Door Inspector to join our growing team of fire safety professionals. You will carry out fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys across a diverse portfolio of residential and educational buildings, helping clients improve compliance, reduce risk, and enhance building safety. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and as part of a highly experienced team, contributing to safer built environments through detailed assessments and clear reporting. You will review fire strategies, identify breaches in fire compartmentation, and provide practical recommendations for improvement. Experience
Relevant experience in fire safety, building surveying, passive fire protection, or a related field. Proven experience conducting fire door inspections, compartmentation surveys, or similar fire safety assessments.

Detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about improving fire safety. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote, field-based role. Willingness to travel throughout Central and Greater London with occasional travel further afield. Flexibility to stay overnight when required. Ability to attend Karntek's Stafford head office periodically. Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points. Successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check (arranged by Karntek).

Qualifications
Desirable qualifications include FDIS qualification or fire door inspection training and a CSCS Card.
