As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Conducting health and disability assessments to understand each person’s unique needs
- Carrying out Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments of working-age individuals with long-term physical or mental health conditions or disabilities, assessing their ability to carry out everyday tasks or move around safely
- Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department for Work and Pensions
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants and contribute to the continuous improvement and excellence of health assessment services in the UK
Experience
At least 12 months post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse (RGN, RNLD, RMN) or HCPC registered paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions is preferred.

Qualifications
Current UK registration with NMC or HCPC as a nurse, paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. Must hold valid clinical registration and have UK-based post-registration experience. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
