About the Role

Join our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.

As a Dual Fuel Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and removal of smart meters (SMETS2) in domestic properties, as well as responding to emergency and maintenance appointments for clients including EON, OVO, and EDF. You will work independently, engaging with customers to provide clear explanations about the benefits and safe use of their new meters.

You will undertake an 11-week bespoke training programme to upskill from your core gas qualifications to smart metering, including achieving your Gas metering qualification, MET1. Continuous training and development are provided to maintain and enhance your skills. Health and safety are central to everything you do, and your onboarding will prepare you to be an ambassador for safe working practices.

Experience
- Current Gas industry experience with core gas qualifications
- Minimum 6 months Gas Safe registration
- Valid UK driving licence held for at least 1 year with less than 6 points

Qualifications
- CCN1 / CMA1 or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel (preferred)
