About the Role
At M Group Energy, we deliver essential infrastructure services for life, prioritising safety and customer focus in a friendly, respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive. As part of our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, you will install, maintain, and manage smart meters (SMETS2) for gas and electricity to ensure accurate billing and monitor energy usage patterns.

In this role, you will respond to emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of EON, completing around 5 smart meter installations or removals per day in customers' homes. You will travel around your area using a tablet to manage your schedule, which is available up to two weeks in advance. Customer service is a top priority, and you will explain the benefits and safe usage of smart meters to customers.

You will receive continuous training to maintain and develop your skills, with a strong focus on health and safety. Weekly meetings and field manager support ensure you are never working in isolation. This role offers varied daily tasks and many opportunities for career progression within M Group Energy.

Experience
- Experience installing gas and electric smart meters is required.
- Previous MOCOPA experience to a multi-rate level is desirable.

- You have a valid UK driving licence held for at least 1 year with less than 6 points.

Qualifications
- Must hold CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 all with MET1, or an NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.
- Bonus qualifications such as REGT1, 3 phase are advantageous but not essential.
- Ideally registered on the EUSR portal.
