Salary
Dual Fuel: £44,126 plus £2,000 attendance and safety bonus per annum (if based inside the M25)
Single Fuel: £38,453 - £40,492 per annum (if based inside the M25)
Non-Technical: £26,984 per annum
Note: Candidates joining on a non-technical or single fuel basis will be required to upskill to dual fuel, with training provided. Salaries apply during initial training and increase upon full qualification.

About the Role
At M Group Energy, we deliver essential infrastructure services across electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation. Join our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, delivering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.

As a Revenue Protection Officer, you will investigate, detect, and prevent gas and electricity theft in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure installations are made safe and collaborate with suppliers to determine further action. Your role includes collecting evidence and providing information to clients to support decision-making.

You will also be involved in debt recovery tasks, which may include installing SMART meters or de-energising/disconnecting supplies. This role requires professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

Whether joining on a non-technical or single fuel basis, you will receive full training on revenue protection and conflict management, with opportunities to progress to a qualified dual fuel engineer.

Experience
Previous experience as a Revenue Protection Officer or in conflict management is useful but not essential. A strong customer service background with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations is required.
