About the Role
At M Group Energy, we deliver essential infrastructure services for life, prioritising safety, client and customer focus in a friendly, respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive. As part of our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, you will install, maintain and manage smart meters (SMETS2) for gas and electricity to ensure accurate billing and monitor energy usage patterns.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and removal of smart meters in customers' homes, completing around 5 jobs per day. You will travel around your area using a tablet to manage your schedule, which is available up to two weeks in advance. Customer service is a top priority, and you will explain the benefits and safe usage of smart meters to customers.

We provide continuous training to develop your skills and ensure health and safety is at the heart of everything you do. You will be supported by regular team meetings and field managers who offer assistance when needed. Experience
- Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
- Previous MOCOPA experience to a multi-rate level preferred
- Valid UK driving licence held for at least 1 year with less than 6 points

Qualifications
- CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 all with MET1, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel preferred but not essential
- Bonus qualifications such as REGT1, 3 phase are advantageous
- Ideally registered on the EUSR portal
