About the Role
The post holder will undertake paramedic duties as part of an operational crew, working within their scope of practice and in accordance with Trust policies, procedures, SOPs and clinical guidelines. You will seek clinical advice and support whenever required and in line with Trust protocols. You will maintain a continuous duty of care to patients, ensuring appropriate treatment, monitoring and assessment until patients are discharged, referred or handed over to another healthcare professional. Effective and professional communication with patients, relatives, colleagues, healthcare professionals and partner agencies is essential. You will demonstrate empathy, compassion and professionalism when supporting patients and families. Adherence to all clinical governance, medicines management and patient safety requirements is mandatory. You will complete all patient documentation accurately, including electronic patient records, in accordance with Information Governance standards. Maintaining HCPC registration and complying with HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics is required. You will develop and maintain a professional portfolio in line with the National Qualified Paramedic Framework and participate in training, education and development activities identified through personal and professional development planning. You will promote and uphold the Trust's values and behaviours in all interactions and act as a positive ambassador for London Ambulance Service.
Experience
Experience as a qualified paramedic or relevant clinical experience is expected as this is a graduate level role.

Qualifications
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Paramedic. Full C1 driving licence is required. Must comply with HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
