About the Role
We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our amazing retail Culinary team at a leading global investment bank in Central London. This role requires a real passion for the Hospitality and Food industry, a collaborative spirit, and pride in your work. As the Head Chef, you will be at the core of our Retail kitchen, responsible for writing and planning menus, mentoring the team, and ensuring exceptional food quality. Our Retail Kitchen serves an average of 3000 transactions daily, offering a variety of freshly prepared dishes. You will have full autonomy across our 7 counters, allowing you to bring your own flair to the menu and create a memorable dining experience.

Requirements

Experience
Experience within a similar Head Chef or Executive Chef position, ideally within a Contract Catering environment. Comfortable running a kitchen that delivers 3000+ covers daily across Breakfast and Lunch service.

About you
Proactive and organized with daily kitchen operations and forward planning. Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels and controlling cost prices for menus to meet gross profit margin targets. Strong passion for food and delivering high-quality dishes at volume. Confident with all Food, Health and Safety legislation, requirements, and policies.

Qualifications
Experience leading and motivating a large team, including Kitchen Porters, Commis, CDPs, and Sous Chefs.
