About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Financial Controls & Audit to join our developing and newly repositioned Finance team on a permanent basis. This is a new and pivotal role responsible for the accounting, controls, and audit functions at Shakespeare’s Globe. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a key member of the finance leadership team, creating and continuously developing systems and processes to strengthen our financial controls.

You will lead a blended team of finance professionals, maintain a robust financial control environment, oversee both external and internal audit processes, and act as the technical lead on a major finance software transformation project, transitioning Business Central to a SaaS platform.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in financial controls, audit, and accounting functions within a complex organisation. Experience leading teams and managing audit processes is essential. Experience with finance software transformation projects is highly desirable.

Qualifications
