About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional, dynamic, and creative Head of Music to bring energy, vision, and ambition to our vibrant department. You will shape an inclusive and inspiring curriculum, spark a lifelong love of music, and create performance opportunities that showcase our students' talents both in school and across the wider community. This exciting role also offers the potential to support music provision across other schools within our trust, helping to develop a shared culture of musical excellence and creativity.
Key responsibilities include leading the Music Department with creativity, direction, and purpose; designing inspiring lessons and unforgettable musical experiences; building vibrant choirs, bands, and school productions that celebrate student talent; creating partnerships with local arts organisations to enrich our offer; and collaborating with colleagues across schools to strengthen music education beyond our own walls.
