About the Role
The health information team produces high quality, accessible health and patient information for people affected by breast cancer or concerned about their breast health. Our printed information is widely used by healthcare professionals across the UK, and our online resources include over 200 webpages. The Health Content Editor plays a pivotal role in creating and reviewing our information portfolio. You will project manage and edit individual information products, working collaboratively with a team of subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Experience
Proven experience as an editor, ideally with health or medical content. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
About you
You are a clear communicator with the ability to simplify complex medical information for a lay audience. You have excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing accessible and accurate health information. You are organised, collaborative, and able to prioritise competing demands effectively.
Qualifications
Relevant editorial or health communication qualifications are desirable but not essential. A strong track record in health content editing is key.
