About the Role
We’re Breast Cancer Now, the research and support charity dedicated to everything breast cancer. We are seeking an experienced procurement manager to help us achieve best value for money with our spend, enabling us to invest more in services supporting people affected by breast cancer. You will work within the legal and governance team, responsible for initiating and supporting procurement projects. Building on existing relationships with contract owners, you will offer best practice guidance to help them meet their objectives while ensuring value for money and risk mitigation. As the charity grows, you will have opportunities to share your knowledge and develop your procurement expertise across a wide and varied range of contracts.

Experience
Proven procurement experience leading and supporting tenders for goods and services, with strong knowledge of IT system procurement. Experience with charity-specific contracts is advantageous but not essential.

About you
Strong negotiating skills with the ability to lead supplier commercial negotiations. Demonstrable track record of adding value to the procurement process. Skilled in drafting tender specifications and statements of work. CIPS qualified or working towards qualification is desirable but not essential.

CIPS qualification preferred but not mandatory.
