Full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Hybrid working pattern with visits and 2 days a week office attendance.
Salary
£50,867 - £54,584 per annum

The HIA utilises grant funding to provide aids and adaptations to residents’ homes across the Borough. We are transforming our services to be innovative and responsive, ensuring residents can thrive in safe, accessible homes. The HIA Manager will provide clear leadership and professional oversight of the Housing Improvements/Adaptations service, ensuring high-quality delivery and performance. This role involves leading, supporting, and developing the team while ensuring services are compliant, customer-focused, and aligned with organisational priorities.
Experience
- Strong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to drive performance
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth understanding of statutory compliance, building safety, and Planning requirements
- Proven ability to manage contractors, SLAs, procurement processes, and performance monitoring
- Strong budget management skills and experience reporting on cost control and expenditure
- Strong construction background

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in housing, surveying, or project management are desirable but not essential if supported by strong experience.
