About the Role
Every interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting impression, and we’re looking for a talented Hospitality Manager who strives to exceed expectations at every turn. As a member of the BaxterStorey family, you will have access to a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and celebrates diversity. You will manage a dedicated hospitality team, overseeing operations across 30 high-profile meeting rooms and elegant event spaces. From intimate client meetings to gatherings of up to 200 guests, you’ll coordinate every detail to ensure perfection. You will lead and manage the hospitality team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, while working closely with the Head Chef and Events Team to ensure flawless service delivery. Your responsibilities will also include managing large volumes of email correspondence, creating event quotes, maintaining impeccable hygiene and safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
Experience
Successful hospitality background in 5 star/Michelin star environment, ideally within contract catering.
About you
Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and able to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strategic thinking and the ability to work on own initiative. Financially and commercially astute.
Qualifications
Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or above. Proficiency in hospitality management software and tools.
